Perfect Add To The a gaming Set up

Love the ability to choose between wearing a headset and not having to. This device gives you the best of both worlds, I love the volume control features it offers for my headset. And the ability to talk with out one is great, very complimentary for how I want to play. Great product well designed

Thank you for your feedback! Like any wired headset, the oTo needs a secure connection to the controller’s 3.5 mm port to ensure audio get routed properly. In our 3.5 years of development and testing, we haven’t had to unplug and replug it multiple times to get it to work. However, we have had to tightly secure it to the controller and ensure its fully connected by pressing it into the controller with a little force. A loose connection will stop the mic from working, just like any headset or device that sends audio through a 3.5 mm jack. We want to create the best experience possible so we will be following up to ensure we take care of any issue you may have. Thank you !

Great for Casual Gameplay!

I play games like Madden, 2K, Minecraft Huge Casual Gamer and I love the ability to talk with friends online with out needing to wear my headset. Very easy to use, battery life is good, not insane. But you can charge it while you play which Is a huge value add. Friends can't tell that I am not wearing a headset, and no one has asked if I am using my Connect for a mic which is what I was fearful of when i bought this thing... Overall good purchase

Disappointed, but hopeful?

I did 3 stars because it does work and i can see where this project came from and could head. Battery life doesn't feed off of the controller. Its individual power is not very long. Sound quality is like you are on the phone with your party. It is very fragile to the touch, any bump can make it feedback or mess up. I dont plan on really using it any further.

We spent 3.5 years designing and developing the oTo around one goal: crisp, clear audio. It has built-in echo cancellation, so your party doesn’t hear echo, TV Volume leaking through or feedback screech. It’s not meant to replace a headset. It’s meant to sound as good as an IPhone's speaker, without having to be stuck in a headset for a casual game like 2K, Madden or GTA. Feedback or dropouts when it’s bumped isn’t something we’ve ever seen in testing, and it’s not how the oTo should ever behave. It could be a connection issue as with any Mic you need to make sure its firmly secured to the controller.

We want to find out what’s going on, so we’ve emailed you directly.

On battery: the oTo has its own battery, so it never drains your controller. A charge lasts 6–8 hours (Up to 16 depending upon use and volume), it fully recharges over USB-C in about 30 minutes, and it keeps working while it charges, so you can plug in and keep playing.

If something’s wrong on our end, we’ll make it right.

The oto headset isn’t compatible with the Xbox controller key board attachment. Why wouldn’t the Xbox key board & OTO import be located on the same side so you could use them both?

it came broken the back part was not together after waiting so long for it waiting 2 months for this from the original date that I was supposed to be here from September and just got it yesterday waiting from the day it was announce that was 3 years ago and I put a $1 dollar now it out now I want to return it it just got me mad when opening the box and how it was from the box

The back piece arriving separated was most likely caused by rough handling during shipping, but that's no excuse. It's on us to make sure every oTo arrives in perfect shape, and this one didn't.

I'll give it a 3/5 stars simply cause u didn't specify that it's only for wireless controllers...I have a wired controller so in order to get this i have to have/buy a wireless controller...that's my only thing about it...no hate..just thought it would have been specified.

This product is really good. I don’t have to wear headphones just to talk to my party, which is so nice. And if I do want to put my headset on, push to talk still works great. It’s easy to use and does exactly what I need. I’d recommend it to anyone who games with friends

I have always disliked Headset's

I have always disliked Headset's due to them being to bulky, making my ears sweat, and the discomfort they cause. The only reason I have ever owned a headset was to be able to communicate with friends online. With the oTo I am able to hear my friends and communicate with the clearly online. And the best part is, is that the audio quality is fantastic. I can hear my friends clearly, and they can't even notice that I am not utilizng a headset. I was nervous that people would notice that I was not wearing a Headset due to the many products that have come out and are junk. But this device was beautifuly made, the engineering behind it is phenominal! I recommend this device to anyone
